      We’ve got some good stuff coming from the coaches, both for supporters and athletes. Do you taper down or living in CA train the same year round?

    Well I would train all year round with short breaks immediately after races – but this year due to my injury I was forced to take sept-dec off. Which is actually pretty nice–I might try and have an off season not due to weather but due to my own sanity (and need to see my boyfriend outside of runs) from now on haha

      I think you do need mental & physical breaks as the whole sport is so intense. Carl pretty much took last year off, but says it’s “time to get serious” and has his races picked out for next yr!!! He’s back……..
